Reviewing DK-2251 Continuous Length Replacement Labels, Black/Red LabelPrinter: QL-820NWBI really like having the option to print in RED from a thermal printer. Seriously, even though it’s not something I need often, when I do it’s EXACTLY what I need. Now, the black is super crisp (as are all Brother thermal labels), so no surprises there. The Red is good. In fact, it’s very good… just not perfect.Now, the photos I am attaching don’t really do justice to the labels. To the naked eye (and I’m a picky professional graphic designer), these look very, very good. Perfectly adequate for marking a box or a small product label. If you need something fancier than this, you really need to just go with laser or dye sublimation labels. I almost didn’t post the blow-up of the label because it makes it look worse than it is. In that close up, it looks splotchy and uneven. But, honestly, unless you’re going to zoom in on it, this is not a problem. As I said above: TO THE NAKED EYE, THESE LOOK VERY GOOD.I have not even had my printer for a month, so I cannot comment on how long this label will last or if it will fade over time.
