The tip on this pen isn’t as fine as if you were using a detail brush to place masking fluid on paper, but it’s pretty darn close if your careful. If I hold the pen straight up and down and don’t use much pressure, I can make some tiny marks and create fairly fine lines. I love how easy and mess-free this is to use. I love that I’ll have no more accidental blobs of masking fluid on my paper or ruined brushes. When it’s first applied the masking fluid looks so light that it’s hard to believe it won’t rub off when painting or that it’ll sufficiently mask the area, but it works great! I’ll still pull out my masking fluid bottle if I need to create super fine details or if I need to cover a large area, but for everything else, I’m completely sold on using this pen instead. So much less hassle!
